I went to community college, won some awards then got some scholarships to go to a big private art school. I enjoyed that too but even with a nice chunk of change I couldn’t afford it so I went to a less desirable not so artsy private university and got my BA degree in graphic design.
I’m 35 at the time of this writing. I’ve been into design since the 6th grade when my dad bought me the Ramones’ Hey Ho Let’s Go Anthology. Inside there was really cool artwork. The Ramones were smoking a hookah superimposed over a trippy image. I didn’t know what a hookah was but it looked awesome.
I like storytelling, brands, logos, books, illustration, web, and motion design.
Previously I worked for a couple of ecommerce companies doing things in WordPress and Shopify.
I also had a wonderful internship at PurposeBuilt Brands involving consumer goods packaging. I learned a heck of a lot about design and brand procedures.
Currently I work for the community college I graduated from. I’m also working on adding my mobile game to an app store near you.
This little weirdo font you see around the site is NO CAP ALL CAPS GROTESQUE which is a little thing I put together some time ago.
